The Lord gave this message to Zephaniah when Josiah son of Amon was king of Judah. Zephaniah was the son of Cushi, son of Amariah, son of Hezekiah.

"I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth." says the Lord. "I will sweep away people and animals alike. I will sweep away the birds of the sky and the fish in the sea. I will reduce the wicked to heaps of rubble, and I will wipe humanity from the face of the earth." says the Lord.

1) heap : a pile of something, especially which is arranged in untidy way.

2) rubble : when some building is in destruction, the remains like stones, rocks and frictions are 

            there. those are rubble.

"I will crush Judah and Jerusalem with my fist and destroy every last trace of their Baal worship. I will put and end to all the idolatrous priests, so that even the memory of them will disappear. For they go up to their roofs and bow down to the sun, moon, and stars. They claim to follow the Lord, but then they worship Molech, too."

선지자 스바냐가 예언했을 때는 요시야의 종교개혁과 맞물리거나, 어린 요시야 왕 때 일 것으로 추측됩니다. 이스라엘에게 우상숭배를 하지 말고, 돌아오라는 메세지가 그것을 뒷받침 합니다. 이 회개 하라는 메세지는 심판의 메세지와 동전의 앞 뒷면 처럼 등장합니다.

1) 

<인명> 유다 왕국의 제16대 왕(?~?). 부왕(父王) 아몬의 횡사(橫死)로 8세에 왕위에 올라아시리아의 붕괴와 이집트의 쇠약을 틈타 독립에 성공하였으며, 수리 중인 신전에서 발견한 법전에 의거하여 종교 개혁을 실시하고 우상 숭배와 신전을 폐지하였다.

 그는 재위 8년 되던 해(16세)에 다윗의 하나님을 찾고 하나님의 뜻을 따라 행동하기를 원했고, 재위 12년 되던 해(20세)에 우상을 파괴하고 가증한 이교적 예배를 금하였다(대하 34:3). 그리고 재위 18년 되던 해(26세)에 성전을 수리, 복구하면서 성전에서 율법책을 발견하였다.

2) 

 성경은 요시야의 종교개혁 이후 몇 년 동안의 행적에 대해서 침묵하고 있다. 그 침묵 기간 동안 국제적으로는 바벨론이 신흥 제국으로 부상하고 있었고, 구세력인 앗수르는 점차 힘을 잃어가게 된다

지금 머리 꼴이 말이 아니다. 유럽 가기 직전에 머리를 잘랐다가, 지금 1달 반이 지났는데, 그 때 다듬은 정도였는지.. 지금은 난발이 되었다.

(1) 그 때, 이만 헤어에서 2시까지 가면 컷트가 4000원이였다. 그리고 2시 이후의 비용은 써 있지 않아서, 그냥 올라갔다. 그 때 시각은 2시 15분이였다. 설마 가격이 얼마 차이 날까 해서, 갔던 거였는데... 짜를 때 디자이너가 내 머리를 5분만에 아주 금방, 대충 짤랐다. 나는 좀 기분이 나빴다. 컷트 시간이 총 15분이였다.

 그런데, 가격이 .... ㄷㄷ 12,000원이였다. 15분 늦었다고, 8000원을 더 받은 것이다. 나는 화를 내려다 참았다. 거기선 내게 미안했는지 내 지인 무료 컷트 쿠폰(물론 이것도 5분만에 짜르겠지), 내 머리 짜르는 3000원 할인 쿠폰(이것도 5분이겠지)를 줬다. 나는 그것들을 꼭 다 써야지 다짐하며 유럽으로 갔다.

 돌아왔는데,. 집을 돌아다녀도 쿠폰이 없는 것이다! 엄마가 버렸다고 들었다. 내 12000원이 물거품이 된 순간이자.. 내 방황의 시작이였다.

나한테는 조명을 공부하기 위해, 사야하는 조명장비 값 16만원이 있다. 거기에 한달 교통비와 통신료 그리고 밥값을 생각하면,. 내 통장의 30만원은 부족하다.

그런 상황에서, 나에게 머리 자르는 값까지 얹혀지면, 나는 정말 힘들어질 수 밖에 없다. 그래서 나는 머리를 잘라야 하는데, 자르지 못하는 상황에 처한 것이다.

(2) 오늘, 머리 자르러 미용실을 갔다. 그곳은 예전에 북유럽신화 만화책들이 꽃혀 있었었다. 나는 그 자리에서 그 모든 걸 다 읽었다. 내 26살 때 일이다. 그 결과 나는 북유럽 신화를 알게 되었다. 그 추억과 동시에 그 책들을 다시 읽고 싶은 마음으로, 그 미용실에 갔다.

 나는 그 미용실이 아직도 영업을 하고 있는 걸 확인했다. 그런데, 왠지.. 책장이 없어지고, 사장님도 바뀐 느낌이였다.. 나는 북유럽 신화 책들이 보고 싶어, 앞에서 망설였다. 밖에서 추리를 통해, 저기 안에 그 책들이 여전히 있는 지 알아 볼 수 있을까 머리를 굴려봐도 답은 나오지 않았다. 들어가야, 미용실 내부를 정확히 볼 수 있었다. 그래서, 나는 수를 냈다.

 안 그래도, 형에게 연락할 일이 있는데.. 거기가서 책이 없으면, 나는 전화를 핑계로 거기에서 자연스레 나오면 그만이였다. 그리고 들어갔다.

미용실엔 손님 1명, 사장님 1명이 있었는데, 역시 다른 분이였다. 나는 얼른 책들을 스캔했는데.. 그 책장 자체가 사라져 있었다. 사장님은 "시간 얼마 안걸려요. 앉아서 기다리세요."라고 내게 선수를 쳤다. 나는 가격도 궁금했다. 그러나, 책이 없으니 내가 비싼 돈 주고 머리를 자를 필요는 없었다. 나는 일어서서, 가려고 했다. 사장님은 "앉아서 조금만 기다리세요."라 했다. 조금 당황했다. 손님에게 앉으라고, 얘기하다니.. 어지간히 저 사장님도 머니 가 급한 모양이였다. 그러나, 나는 "잠시만요."하고 전화를 들고 그냥 나갔다. 가방을 멘 체.

(3) 그 사장님 한테 조금 미안해졌다. 더군다나 성경책 있는 거 보면, 교회 다니는 분인데.. 청년부 누나 같기도 한데... 그러나,; 내게도 돈이 없다. 내가 무언가를 사주고 싶어도, 내가 당장 쓸 게 없으면 지갑을 열지 않는 법이다.

 정부는 모른다. 아니, 새누리당과 박근혜는 모른다. 우리 서민들에겐 사장님들과 정치인들과는 다르게, 돈 나올 구멍이 정말 한정되어 있다. 즉 맨날 소득은 작게 고정되어 있는 체, 돈 나갈 구멍을 좁히며 살아가고 있다. 소득은 거의 오르지 않는데, 물가는 계속 뛴다.

(4) 정부는 추경 상반기 집행을 통해, 경제 유동성을 늘리겠다느니 말을 하지만, 그 돈들은 사장님이나, 경영진들 혹은 일부 사업자들에게 돌아가지.. 일반 월급쟁이들에게 돌아가지 않는다. 그리고 그런 잘난 부자 분들이 서민 가게들에서 소비를 할 확률은 적다. 즉, 추경이 우리 서민들의 지갑과는 무관하다는 것이다?

아니다. 큰 관련이 있다.

(5) 추경은,. 국민 세금으로 갚아야 할 '빚'이기 떄문이다. 여당, 새누리, 박근혜의 가장 큰 문제점은 국민의 세금을 '자기 호주머니 돈'으로 생각한다는 것이다. 복지는 정부에서 주는 수혜가 아니다! 복지는 국민이 자기가 낸 돈을 돌려 받는 '당연한 권리'다. 그런데, 국민의 지갑에서 강제로 가져간 돈들을 가지고, 추경을 집행하면.. 서민에게 돌아오기는 커녕, '급여 제한'이 없는 사장과 이사진들만 더 부자가 되게 한다. 

 즉 국민 세금으로, 저들은 자기 배를 채우는 것이다. 프랑스 대혁명이 왜 일어났는 줄 아는가? 나는 베르사유 궁전에 가보았다. 그 미친 규모의 궁전과 그 화려함과 지나친 자기과시는 오스트리아 함스부르크 왕가의 쉔부른 궁전에서도, 카톨릭의 집 바티칸에서도 본 적이 없다. 그 모든 것들은 프랑스 일반 국민들이 갚아야 할 '국가의 빚'으로 지어졌던 것이다.  즉, 루이 16세와 그 왕가와 귀족들이 살고, 누리던 것들은 '국가가 만든 빚'이였고, 그것을 갚는 주체는 '대다수 국민들'이였던 것이다. 

나는 추경을 집행한다, 경제 활성화를 위해 돈을 푼다라는 한은의 발표나, 최경환의 발표를 듣고 있으면, 많이 화가 난다. 이유는 간단하다. 저 건 국가의 빚이고, 그건 국가가 갚는 게 아니라, 노동의 실체들은 우리 국민들이 갚아야만 하기 때문이다!

 왜 비리를 저지른 군인들이 죄인이냐면, 여러분은 우리 국민들이 낸 세금으로 먹고 살고, 비용들을 썻기 떄문이다. 우리 국민들은 우리가 낸 세금만큼, 권리가 있다. 여러분에게 손님으로써 권리가 있다. 여러분은 그에 대응하는 서비스를 제공해야할 의무가 있다.

(6) 나는 아직도 머리를 못 잘랐다. 나의 지갑의 돈 나올 구멍은 작고 한정되 있으며, 빠져 나가야 할 양은 언제나 예산 초과이기 때문이다. 이게 서민의 지갑이다.

In November of the second year of King Darius's reign, the Lord gave this message to the prophet Zechariah son of Berekiah and grandson of Iddo.

"I, the Lord, was very angry with your ancestors. Therefore, say to the people, "This is what the Lord of Heaven's Armies says : Retrun to me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of Heaven's Armies. Don't be like your ancestors who would not listen or pay attention when the earlier prophets said to them, "This is what the Lord of Heaven's Armies says : Turn from your evil ways, and stop all your evil practices.'

"Where are your ancestors now? They and the prophets are long dead. But everything I said through my servants the prophets happened to your ancestors, just as I said. As a result, they repented and said, "We have received what we deserved from the Lord of Heaven's Armies. He has done what he said he would do."

Three month later, on February 15, the Lord sent another message to the prophet Zechariah son of Berekiah and grandson of Iddo.

In a vision during the night, I saw a man sitting on a red horse that was sitting on a red horse that was standing among some myrtle trees in a small valley. Behind him were riders on red, brown, and white horses.

I asked the angel who was taking with me, "My lord, what do these horses mean?" "I will show you," the angel replied. The rider standing among the myrtle trees then explained, "They are the ones the Lord has sent out to patrol the earth."

Then the other riders reported to the angel of the Lord, who was standing among the myrtle trees, "We have been patrolling the earth, and whose earth is at peace." Upon hearing this, the anel of the Lord prayed this prayer "O the Lord of Heaven's Armies, for seventy years now you have been angry with Jerusalem and the towns of Judah. How long until you again show mercy to them?"

And the Lord spoke kind and comforting words to the angel who talked with me. Then the angel said to me, "Shout this message for all to hear : 'This is what the Lord of Heaven's Armies says : My love for Jerusalem and Mount Zion is passionate and strong. But I am very angry with the other nations that are now enjoying peace and security, I was only a little angry with my people, but the nations inflicted harm on them far beyond my intentions. "Therefore, this is what the Lord says : I have returned to show mercy to Jerusalem. My Temple will be rubilt, says the Lord of Heaven's Armies, and measurements will be taken for the reconstruction of Jerusalem.

: 주제는 명료하다.  신바벨로니아에게 멸망당하고, 세계 노예가 되었던 유다민족이 예루살렘으로 70년만에 돌아와서, 재건이 되가는 과정 중에 스가랴에게 임한 말씀이다. "너희는 선조들을 닮아, 죄를 짓지 말아라. 나의 말에 귀를 기울여라." "예루살렘과 이스라엘에 자비와 사랑을 보여줄 것이다. 성전이 다시 지어질 것이다. 풍요로워 질 것이다."

The Lord is a jealous God, filled with vengeance and rage. He takes revenge on all who oppose him and continues to rage against his enemies! ( vengeance : 복수, rage : 분노, revenge : 복수)

In his presence the mountains quake, and the hills melt away; the earth trembles, and its people are destroyed. (quake : 떨다, 전율하다.)

Who can stand before his fierce anger? Who can survive his burning fury? His rage blazes forth like fire, and the mountains crumble to dust (crumble : 부서지다)

Why are you scheming against the Lord? (scheme : 몰래 계획을 꾸미다) He will destroy you with one blow ; he won't need to strike twice!

His enemies, tangled like thornbushes and staggering like drunks, will be burned up like dry stubble in a field (tagle : 얽히다, thornbushes : 가시관목, stagger : 비틀거리다, stubble : 그루터기)

Who is this wicked counselor of yours who plots evil against the Lord? This is what the Lord says. "Though the Assyrians have many allies, they will be destroyed and disappear." (ally : 동맹국)
